Established in 1984, Caring Companions (UK) Ltd has been providing quality live in care at home to the elderly and young adults nationwide for over 30 years. The experience we’ve gained over the decades enables us to provide care for a wide range of needs with particular expertise in cases of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Our service is the alternative to residential care homes, the alternative we believe offers a greater quality of life.

As a family run business, we guarantee that your calls or emails will only be answered by our small team. A team who care deeply about providing you and your loved ones with a high quality service. This continuity of communication means that you will always be talking with someone who knows and understands your individual needs.

We are proud to provide experienced and qualified Companion/Carers, many of whom have been working with Caring Companions (UK) Ltd for many years.

Every Companion/Carer is subject to the highest vetting and checking procedures. We guarantee that they will have Enhanced Disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well as having up to four references thoroughly checked and investigated. In addition, all Companion/Carers have, or are in the process of gaining certification in Manual Handling of People, First Aid, Food Preparation and Hygiene, Understanding Medication and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.

Most companion/carers also have NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification in Care or Health and Social Care (Adult).

For long term care needs our proven system allows the client to receive the best one-to-one care at home, 24 hours a day seven days a week, from live-in Companion/Carers who they know and trust.
